In 2011, temenos is presenting Martin McDonagh's The Lieutenant of Inishmore,
a biting comedy examining the effect of radical Irish Republicanism
in the 1990s.
Director Kate Bligh gave a radio interview with CKUT's Eric Sukhu
on Upstage. You can listen to the show
here—the
interview is about halfway through. You can also read her thoughts
on the project in
The Charlebois Post.
Director Kate Bligh brings a cast of up-and-coming actors,
current and recent students of Concordia University and Dawson College, to The Segal
Centre Studio for a January 2011 opening.
In collaboration with the School of Canadian Irish Studies at Concordia University, temenos is poised to deliver a distinctly Irish play to
Montrealers next year.
